3 medium tomatoes, finely chopped or pureed

1 medium onion, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated

3 tbsp homemade vegetable oil or ghee

1 tsp cumin seeds (homemade)

1 tsp coriander powder (homemade)

½ tsp turmeric powder

½ tsp red chili powder (homemade ground chilies)

½ tsp garam masala (homemade)

Salt to taste

1 tsp homemade lemon juice (optional)

Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken and Aromatics

Wash and pat dry 600 g chicken.

Chop onion, mince garlic, grate ginger, and slice green chilies.
